Elephant Shoe was started back in 2005. We are based out of wonderful Winnipeg, where the people are as beautiful as the summers we get. After closing in mid 2010 we decided to re-open with some ownership changes that we feel will only further asset the company. Being three moms ourselves, we know the benefit of being able to shop online, shop Canadian and shop in the middle of the night with our jammies on. Please read our mission statement below.
Having a business is very similar to having a baby. It starts out as a small idea; you watch it grow and blossom, develop and learn. Not everyday is easy, but the rewards always outnumber the obstacles, and with a good support system anything is possible.
So if it takes a village to raise a child, it takes a few good women to run a business. And while we strive to offer outstanding customer service and a more personal approach to online shopping, we want to have fun doing it. We hope this reflects in our design, the brands we choose and the way we run things.
